The Victims of Society






Society can be defined as a group of people who live in a particular area. Mostly a society will share the same interests and thoughts. A society thinks as one, they share the same ideas and interests. They will have a sense of what is wrong and what is right. 


So How can someone be a victim of society? What makes someone a victim of society?.

 

When someone wants to deviate from these ideas, either the society will try to force you back into their way or it will push you away from their society.  


The people who want to live their life differently but are forced into living how the society wants them to live are victims of society. We believe we have free will and we have rights to do whatever we want if it is legal, but do we really have free will? Can we really do whatever we want?. I personally think we have free will but not everyone has it. Those who don't have it are the victims of society. The saddest part is we are not acknowledging them, we refuse to accept that they are victims, we either ignore them or someone who carries a deadly contagious virus. I would like to show you two common victims of society.


TRANSGENDER

Everyday many people in a train or ina bus disgust/scared/get angry by seeing a transgender asking money, I mean they have the right to get angry but have we ever given a thought about why they are asking money?. 


Imagine being a transgender, your parents disown you as soon as you tell them what u feel. Why do they disown you? Because this society won't accept your way of living, they don't want to get dragged down with you. They want to live in this esteemed society, the same society which didn't accept their children for who they are. 


Most of the transgender are either a beggar or a prostitute. I highly doubt that they want to do that. Schools are almost never an option for them. Sure they can go to school but think about the treatment they will get from their classmates and teachers. Most of the adults themselves mistreat transgenders, if adults are like that imagine what children will do. If they can’t study they can work somewhere where education is not required but that is also restricted because most people won't hire  them, even if they are ok with their gender since they obviously want to live peacefully in this esteemed society. One last option is they can start a business which is highly unlikely since they are disowned by their parents and disliked by their own society. Even if they did successfully start a business, the amount of people that would support it would be very less. 


This esteemed society won’t accept transgender for who they are, this esteemed  society won’t let them go to school, or support them in anyway. Without any other option they are forced to beg  money, they are forced to do prostitution. This esteemed society forces them to beg or become a prostitute. This esteemed society chooses a life which they don't want hence they become a victim of society.



HOMOSEXUALS

I don't think I have to explain that much that why homosexuals are a victim of society.


Imagine being a homosexual in this society, you realize that you are a homosexual one day who you are going to tell about it. Most of the homosexuals keep it as a secret. How hard it must be to keep your sexuality a secret even though there is nothing wrong about it. This society hates homosexuals because it is not natural and according to our culture it is wrong. If a parent finds out that their child is a homosexual either they are going to poison/disown their child or they are going to say this is a curable disease. I think the chances of people accept their child for being a homosexual is very very rare.


A whole society will tell you that homosexual is a curable disease and it will treat you as someone who has a disease. If this society finds out you are a homosexual it will disown you. 


Homosexual has to live in a constant fear, that people may find out that they are homos. This society forces people to be afraid of their own sexuality


To everyone who is reading this how many gay people you know in your life? Almost no one has a gay friend right? Does that mean they are non-existent in Tamilnadu? I don't think so. I think they are just too afraid of coming out


This society forces a person to pose as something that they are not. It won't let them be who they are. It won't let them be happy. This society stops a person from being happy. Hence homosexual are a victim of society.



FINAL THOUGHTS

This society has a structure on how to live for everyone and people firmly believe that it is the right way. Mostly they construct this way of living by saying the word culture. I strongly believe culture is something that is used to oppress women and that is all it is useful for. 


Just because a group of people believe that this is the right way to live we don't have to follow it. We can live as we like as long as it is legal. We have the responsibility to change the mindset of this society, we have the responsibility to make this society a peaceful place to live for everyone. A Society is a group of people, it is a beautiful thing everyone should be able to be a part of it. You and me, we can make this society a beautiful place for everyone. Let's stop waiting for the change and start making it.

  Here is our review with some ignorable spoilers. There is a scene where a boy cries looking at something. Another adult character comes near him and sees the boy is looking at a mother bird feeding her hatchlings, which reminds him of his dead mother. Understanding this, the adult also starts crying. If you are done cringing, let’s analyse the movie a little. The title card copied the same as Vijay in Goat but zero impact with terrible music. Cinematography is the worst at places. For example, in the same scene, when they show different characters in separate frames, the color of the forest changes. Edit cuts are terrible, as sometimes it seems like what the heck are we watching. They said the movie is made on a huge budget, and Surya is not a big hero who eats up half of the budget as salary, but still, CGI is at worst⁠ even in a scene where they toss a wine bottle. And about the crocodile scene, it was poorly shot and worked. They could’ve cut it off as it was just a filler....

Aviyal's Top 5 Movies of 2024

  No, no, no, no, it is never too late to make a top 5 movies of 2024 list. I am actually angry with every Tamil movie released in 2024. I mean, for the first six months there was nothing, and all of a sudden great movies came out week after week. I was legit broke at a point. Plan better, guys.  2024 was a great year for Tamil cinema. It is true that we saw duds like G.O.A.T, but on the other hand, we got really really good movies. Let’s make a top 5 list of 2024.   சூரியன் மிகவும் கோபமாக  இருந்த ஒரு மே மாதத்தின் ஞாயிற்றுக் கிழமை அன்று. கார்திக் புதிதாக வாங்கிய சோபாவில் அமர்ந்து அண்ணாந்து ஃபேன்ஐ பார்த்து  கொண்டு இருந்தான். அது என்னவோ தெரியவில்லை மே மாததில் மட்டும் ஃபேன்கள் தங்கள் முழு உழைபைப் போட்டு வேலை செய்தாலும் திட்டத்தான் தோணும். கார்திக்கும் அதைதான் செய்து கொண்டிருந்தான்.  தன் வீட்டு ஃபேன்ஐ மட்டுமில்லாமல் சூரியனையும் சேர்த்து சபித்தான்.  கார்திக் ஒரு ஐடி ஊழியன். ஐடி கம்பெனி  என்றால் சினிமாவில் காட்டுவதுபோல் பெரிய கம்பெனி ஒன்றும் இல்லை. ஓரு இருபது பேர் இருப்பார்கள். 12 ஆண்கள் 7 பெண்கள் அந்த பெண்களை தொல்லை செய்யும் ஒரு மேனேஜர் அவ்வளவுதான்.  “5 மினிட்ஸ்ங்க  ” என்று கிச்சன்க்குள்ளிருந்து ஒரு குரல் வந்தது. சுமதி கணவனுக்கு பிடித்த சிக்கன் சமைத்து கொண்டிருந்தாள். உடலெல்லாம் வியர்வை. ஆனால் அதைப்பற்றி அவளுக்கு கொஞ்சமமும் கவலையில்லை. தன்னவனுக்காக சமைக்கின்றோம் என்கிற ஒரு சந்தோஷம்.         கல்யாணம் முடிந்து  ஒரு மாதம் ஆகியிருந்தது. பத்து நாள் ஹனிமூனில் மூணாரை சுற்றி...
